Privacy policy

The short version: SCRAMBLE! doesn't collect your personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The camera is used live on your phone and is never recorded or uploaded.

Who we are

FadeQuarters and the SCRAMBLE! app are run by Custodio Systems LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app and this website use, and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, email support@fadequarters.com.

What the app uses

Your camera

SCRAMBLE asks for camera access so it can show your live camera view while you train. The camera feed is processed only on your phone, in real time. We don't take photos, record video, or send any image or video off your device. You can turn camera access off at any time in your iPhone's Settings app. SCRAMBLE needs it to start a workout.

Settings and workout count

The app saves a few things on your phone so it works the way you left it: your sound, haptics, tempo, cadence, reduced-motion and mirror settings, whether you've seen the welcome screen, and how many workouts you've finished. That count is only used to decide when to show Apple's "rate this app" prompt. This information stays on your phone, we can't see it, and it's deleted when you delete the app.

App Store ratings

After a few finished workouts, the app may show Apple's standard rating prompt. Apple runs that prompt. We don't learn who you are, and we only see the public rating or review you choose to leave.

Information Apple shares with us

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us anonymous, aggregated information such as download counts and crash reports. It doesn't identify you. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

What the app doesn't do

• No sign-up, account, or login.
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or tracking tools, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
• No selling or sharing of personal information. We don't collect any to share.

This website

fadequarters.com doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising, and it doesn't load scripts or fonts from other companies. Your browser remembers, for the current visit only, that you've seen the intro animation. The "Try a round" demo runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address to keep the service secure. See GitHub's privacy statement.

If you email us

When you contact us, we use your email address and message to reply and to fix the problem you reported. We keep these emails only as long as we need them for support, and we'll delete them if you ask.

Children

SCRAMBLE isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

Because the app keeps your information on your phone, you're in control: change your settings in the app, turn off camera access in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. For anything else, including deleting emails you've sent us, write to support@fadequarters.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how SCRAMBLE handles information, for example by adding new features, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
